Hello, my name is Keith Garrett. I have been using a camera since my dad handed me a box camera when I was a kid but it wasn’t until about 15 to 20 years ago that I realized that a camera could present my vision of the world as I was seeing it. Whether it is landscapes, cityscapes, wildlife, sports or events I try to present to the viewer what I see and how I see it. Sometimes the stories that my images tell are very subtle and other the story is strong. The one thing that I have learned in the last 15 to 20 years is that there is more to photography than equipment, f-stops and shutter speeds. Those things can give you a sharp image but the emotion that goes into the image is what gives it quality.
