OVERALL THOUGHTS: I just noticed that I forgot to post my review of Seattle/Tacoma KOA in Kent, WA. This campground is well located with easy but long access to downtown Seattle using public transportation. It is about halfway between Seattle and Mount Rainier National Park. If you stay here and want to go into Seattle, I definitely suggest using the public transportation system. Traffic is bad and parking is even worse. While I was there a report on the TV news said that Seattle was ranked as the number one worst city in the U.S. for traffic. The campground is good. There is a lot for kids to do. They don’t have firepits at the slots but do have an area behind the office where there are gas grills that any of the guests can use. The staff were very friendly. The grounds are pet friendly. It is relatively quiet as compared to other sites that I have stayed at on this trip. I would probably stay here again if I was ever to come this way again.
