Cannon Beach RV Resort, Cannon Beach, OR review

FIRST IMPRESSION: My first impression was that I was upset because I made a mistake as to where I had made my reservation. I thought that I was making it in Astoria and here Cannon Beach is 20 miles south of Astoria but when I pulled in the resort look really good.

LOCAL AREA: The park is just off the Oregon Coast Highway (US-101) and the village of Cannon Beach is just on the other side of the highway.

GROUND/SURFACE: I had a blacktop level surface and the park has a mixture of blacktop and some gravel sites.

WIFI/PHONE SIGNAL: Wi-Fi and cell service were weak. I could get cell service in one spot but take 1 or 2 steps in either direction and get reception. I have AT&T and was told that other services get good reception.

CABLE/TV: They have Cable with 62 channels

POWER FASCILITY: 30 and 50 amps

NOISE/AMBIANCE: Very quiet

NOTEWORTHY RULES: Nothing Unusual

NEARBY PUBS/EATERIES: There are many bars and restaurants in Cannon Beach

BASIC AMMENATIES: Very clean restrooms and showers. They have an indoor pool and spa. There are several playgrounds spread around the campsite. One different thing that they have is gasoline pumps that are competitively priced.

STAFF: They were very helpful and friendly

OVERALL THOUGHTS: Overall of the four campsites that I stayed at on the Oregon coast this was the best one. It was a very scenic setting. I had a problem with my trailer. All indications pointed to a problem with the converter. When I arrived at this campsite I asked them if they knew of a repair service that could check out my trailer. They put me in contact with Curt Dean (503-791-8317) and he came right out. He checked everything out and then checked the converter and it was shot. He said that he would try to get a new one the next day. He did and brought it out and installed it right away. Thanks to the resort and Curt everything is good now. I would give this resort 5 out of 5 stars. If I am ever in this area again this will be the RV resort that I will stay at.
