Tucson Day 5

One of the people in the site next to me told me about Sabino Canyon. They told me to go and take the tram up to the top rim and hike along the rim. The views were supposed to be spectacular. So, I ditched the idea of going back to the Rincon district of Saguaro National Park and went to Sabino Canyon. Unfortunately, when I got there the trams weren’t running. They told me that they are in between contracts for the company running the trams. The new company is going to use electric trams. So spent the day hiking some of the trails around the visitor’s center. The trails are long but photographically interesting. I managed to get a few decent images. I got some of birds that I haven’t got a clue what they are, but they were pretty. And in a photograph, that’s what counts. I’m still looking for a rattlesnake, with my zoom lens, Gila Monster, tarantula and a scorpion. Mother Nature won’t cooperate, so I must deal with it. I was told that with the weather warming up these critters are starting to come out of their holes. I also got some decent landscapes today. More of my images can be seen at https://kgarrett.smugmug.com/Around-The-USA/Tucson-AZ/Sabino-Canyon-Day-5/
