Concrete WA Grandy Creek KOA review

FIRST IMPRESSION: First impression was OK it’s a campsite

LOCAL AREA: Closest town is 6 miles east on route 20. Small town with several coffee shops, and a small grocery store.

CABLE/TV: No cable or over the air TV

POWER FASCILITY: 50 amps you need a surge protector and a connection converter

NOISE/AMBIANCE: No noise

NOTEWORTHY RULES: 5MPH and a sign says that there is a $50 fine if exceeded

NEARBY PUBS/EATERIES: There are several bars and restaurants

BASIC AMMENATIES: Water, electric and sewer and a dump station

STAFF: They are helpful

OVERALL THOUGHTS: This is a large campground and heavily treed with tall pines. There is a lot for families. There is a huge grassy area in the middle for playing games or just laying out in the sun. There is a large play area with a basketball court, a volleyball court and a large bouncy thing for kids to jump on. When I got here, I checked in at the front gate not an office. The campground is gated, and they give you a key code to enter. They gave me a map of the grounds and I was on my own to find my assigned spot. If you are bringing your family for a peaceful weekend outing this is a good place. Each site has a large firepit sitting on a long concrete patio. There is a picnic table with a small side round table and two chairs. There is also a two-person swing. They do not sell propane, so you must go into concrete to fill up a tank. I would probably stay here again but because of the Wi-Fi, cable/TV and propane I only give it 4 stars.
